A huge thank you — UNBLOCK is off to an amazing start!

Wow — what a week I had last week! Monday kicked off with the Kindle launch of UNBLOCK, followed by the official book launch on Tuesday, and then a trip to Stockport on Thursday to meet up with a fantastic group of fellow authors.

Thanks to all of your support, UNBLOCK hit #1 in Hot New Releases across three different categories! I couldn't be more grateful to everyone who’s already grabbed a copy, shared the book, or sent me a note of encouragement. It’s been an incredible start, and I couldn’t have done it without you.

As a thank you, I thought I'd share a couple of quick insights from UNBLOCK that you can put to use right away. These are a taste of some of the strategies that can help you build a truly productive culture in your organisation.

Tip 1: Productivity is a Cultural Asset, Not an Individual Responsibility

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is the idea that productivity is up to each individual — as if everyone just needs better time management or to work “harder.” UNBLOCK flips that on its head by showing that true productivity is a collective effort, built at the cultural level. When productivity becomes a core part of your organisation’s values and practices, it drives performance far more effectively than individual effort alone.

A question to consider: What behaviours are we rewarding, and how do these shape our culture of productivity?

Tip 2: Identify and Remove Hidden Blockers

Every organisation has hidden blockers that quietly drain productivity — outdated processes, rigid structures, or mindsets that limit potential. UNBLOCK offers a structured approach to identify and clear these roadblocks so your team can thrive. A simple place to start? Ask your team to share one process or requirement they find frustrating or inefficient. Often, the smallest irritations reveal the biggest opportunities for change.

I hope these ideas spark some inspiration! And if you’ve already bought and read UNBLOCK, I would be eternally grateful if you’d consider leaving a review on Amazon. Reviews are incredibly important for bringing any book to others’ attention, and each one really makes a difference.

Thanks again for making last week such an incredible launch — this is just the beginning.
